THE CARTOONS

Tuesday, July 17, 2012
Oh Hey if you guys like games. Try this one out. It’s a simulation game with The Wild Thornberrys. You travel around the world rescuing and caring for exotic animals. You have 20 species to save and it has a pretty good graphic system. The website is http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/1006/wildthornberrysaus/index.html It has a free demo or you can purchase the game for only 2.99. The Wild Thornberrys were another one of my favorite cartoons. It came on 2 or 3 times a day. My favorite character in this TV series would have to be Donnie. He is a wild boy who was raised by orangutans. He is constantly getting into things and acting crazy, which is what I was doing at the time.:) He was always sticking something up his nose, or just eating bugs. I watched a few episodes where he was sticking worms up his nose and then eating them. I thought that was the coolest thing ever.....And yes I didn’t get out much when I was a kid....sorry mom. :)
Rugrats
Cartoons! Does anyone remember the good ones? Rugrats, Rocko’s
Modern Life, Hey Arnold and Doug just to name a few, were some of my favorite
cartoons. They were really popular in the 90’s. My all time favorite cartoon
would have to be Rugrats. It’s just
something about all those babies in dippers that made the show so addicting. You had the lead character Tommy Pickles,
which later in the series he has a baby brother, named Dill, but that doesn’t happen
until season 5 in 1998. The twins, Phil
and Lil, could be distinguished only by the color of their socks and the pink
bow in Lil’s hair. Chuckie was the little freckled red head that had wild hair.
Chuckie was the oldest at age 2, and he was also Tommy’s best friend. Last but
not least, Angelica. She is Tommy’s 3 year old cousin. She is a very spoiled
little girl, and she is considered the bad guy in this TV series. There are
more characters in the series, like the parents and the dog, but these are the
main five. I would be glued to the TV anytime this came on.
